Pattern and Mold manufacture for both internal and third party end use, is done in a separate environmentally controlled area. The Tooling Department has a dedicated Spray booth with adjoining pattern/jig workshop. On site Metal Shop for mold frame and jigs/fixtures manufacture. Mold manufacture is subject to strict ISO 9001-2000 procedures and documentation. Dimensional accuracy of Molds, Jigs and Fixtures is assured by means of a Faro Arm 3D digital measuring device accurate to six thousandths of an inch.

The steps involved in vacuum bagging the mold were as follows.
- Mold is gelcoated.
- Mold is skinned with surface veil
- The RTM mat is placed on the mold and lightly adhered into place.
- The Peel Ply and red flow media is put in place.
- The bag is applied and sealed with sealant tape.
- The Vacuum is turned on to remove the air.
- The Resin is drawn into the mold.
- Once resin is set the vacuum is turned off.
- Remove bag, and flow media.
- Add frame and remove from the pattern.
